Czech glass beads come in a huge variety of colours, sizes, shapes and finishes, making them a wonderfully versatile addition to your jewellery. Czech glass beads and seed beads can often have slight variations in size and shape within the same strand, due to parts of the manufacturing process involving hand pressing or faceting the beads. The bead sizes given in the listings are approximate, they may be slightly bigger or smaller. For example, where a bead size is stated to be 6mm, the actual bead size could be anywhere between 5.5mm - 6.0mm. This size variation in the Czech glass beads is not a manufacturing fault, and this gives a more organic and rustic feel to the beads. The size is always determined by the measurement of the longest/largest side of the bead.
